ABE Learner Eligibility

Adult Basic Education means services or instruction below the post-secondary level. Students must:

be are at least 17  years old; and      

not be enrolled or required to be enrolled in high school under State law; and

are in need of help with basic educational skills such as

1.  English speaking

2.  Reading and math   

3.  Workforce preparation

4. GED

5. Computer skills

ESL = English as a second language or English Language Classes
